In Sanskrit, it is said कार्य-जनन-सामर्थ्यं शक्तिः - means, Shakti is an ability to generate actions! What kind of actions? Constructive actions! What are constructive actions? Those actions which are Creative, Novel, Noble, Productive and Useful for the evolution of Humanity. Also, constructive actions bring about harmony on the planet and finally they create cherishable memories for the self and others! That’s Shakti! If we claim to be the devotees of Shakti, let’s introspect and truly ask ourselves if we are genuinely constructive and productive!

Once, Bhagavatī Pārvatī, annoyed with the absence of Paramātmā Shiva, loudly demanded an answer - Shiva, where have you been?!" "I was panicking for six months! You just vanished from Mount Kailāsa! I was starting to think you were bored with me, or worse, you found a new celestial being to hang out with!"
Shiva said, "Bhagavatī, hold on! You know I'd never do anything to mess with our pure and pristine love. He took a step closer, his expression softening. Pārvatī, You sound like you've been in so much pain, my love. Sorry, but I was just busy redesigning, building, and fixing the universe!
Pārvatī's eyes narrowed. Fixing the universe? For six months?
Shiva responded - Exactly! And you know what, Bhagavatī? That's all thanks to you. While I was with you, I absorbed all the energy I needed to make the universe a better place. You're my infinite energy source! That's the power of Shakti and how much I gain from being with you
Pārvatī crossed her arms, a playful smile on her face. So you're saying I gave you so much energy you needed to disappear for six months to use it all up?
Shiva chuckled. Exactly! You are my endless battery pack, and I love you for it!
Pārvatī raised an eyebrow skeptically. Hmm... I'm not sure if you love me as Shakti or if you just love using all my Shakti to become popular amongst your devotees as Mahadeva. That’s Shakti, which can energise Shiva too!
